- The scene starts with a long shot that pans around the school ground which introduces the location.
- There are quick shots to an extreme close up of someone working with a drill, which is mysterious as it is so close up, so it is unclear whats happening.
- Mid shots are used a lot in the playground to establish different groups which gives you just enough focus on the people, that you can also see others around the.
- The scene in the playground is an open frame with focussed depth of field, again to show different groups.
- Open frame fits with the hecticness of the playground as it makes the scene feel more casual.
- Point of view shots are used to make the viewer feel as if they are standing in the playground watching.
